Being a woman today can be challenging. This may be the understatement of the century! If you’re anything like most women (myself included), you’re working hard to manage your personal life, professional life, family life, social life and mental and physical health. Often, while caring for others, we women put our own care and needs last. Well, this is the time to prioritize your needs because self-care is anything but selfish.

You already possess beautiful strengths that can support you through the winding, often bumpy, path of being a woman. I know at times some of those strengths may be more challenging to identify and tap into when you’re overwhelmed and trying to just manage the latest challenge life throws at you. I want to help you tap into your strengths and provide you the safe space, non-judgmental support, unconditional positive regard and empathy necessary to feel, process, heal and grow.

We will work collaboratively to create your personalized treatment plan that focuses on the areas where you seek change. You control your treatment while I am there as a supportive guide; together we will build an alliance. We will utilize your feminine power and strengths paired with the education I gained while earning my Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degrees from California State University, San Bernardino. In my 7 years of clinical experience, I have utilized many therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Mindfulness.
I am privileged to work with women in all life stages from adolescence to the twilight years, and specialize in addressing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (postpartum depression and anxiety), female cancer diagnosis, autoimmune and other chronic illness, infertility, adoption, parenting issues, role changes, grief/loss, mild to moderate eating disorders, gender dysphoria and interpersonal relationship struggles. Our experiences as individuals are unique, but as women we are a community, and you are not alone. I look forward to walking beside you in your therapeutic journey as you find your harmony.
